Fringe Favourites – Magicians (and more) Who Left an Impression

I was only at the Fringe for a couple of days this year... but wow, I crammed a lot in.
I saw some brilliant acts, funny, clever, quirky, bold, (and one terrible show I won't mention) and came away inspired (and a bit sweaty, it was warm in those rooms).
This isn't a full review, just a quick shoutout to a few performers who made me laugh, think, or feel something magical. If you get the chance to see any of them in future, go.

🎩 Charlie Caper - Magical
An absolute masterclass in magic, staging and audience connection. The crowd couldn’t get their money out fast enough — and it was a Free Fringe show. @charliecaper

🃏 Tom Brace Saws Himself in Half
Very funny family magic. Self-deprecating, great timing, and lovely audience participation. @tombracemagic

😆 Max Fulham – Full of Ham
Managed to grab a ticket to an extra show. Max makes ventriloquism feel fresh and genuinely funny again. @maxfulham

🪬 Reuben Moreland – Abracadabra B*tch!
Unique premise, well delivered. Magic meets revenge with real flair. Sharp and original. @reubenmoreland

🤘 Aaron Jones – Rockstar Magician
I sat at the back, just in case... but I stayed, laughed, and happily paid. That says it all. @therockstarmagician

🌀 Cameron Gibson – Hypnotist
Participants were under his spell from the start. Nothing cringey, just well-paced and confidently delivered. @camerongibsonirl

📼 Paul Campbell – The Lost Tapes of Somerfield
Not a magic show, just warm, weird, funny and unique storytelling in a shipping container. Very Fringe. @paulcampbellsoup

🎤 Ed Night – Your Old Mucker
Again, not magic, but hilarious. His Grandad Ken bit was one of my favourite routines of the trip. @_ednight

💬 Nathan Earl - @streetstylemagician
I didn’t manage to catch his street set, but heard fantastic things, and he’s one of the nicest people you’ll meet in the magic world. @streetstylemagician

😆 Chris Frost - Abracadadbod
I tried to make it to Chris's show on Friday, but it was postponed at the last minute. I was a bit disappointed as I would have loved to have seen him in his first Edinburgh season and wished him well as a fellow Magic Circle Member like Nathan. I heard it went really well, so chuffed for him - maybe catch him next year. @frostieentertainment
If you were part of the Fringe this year, whether on stage or in the audience, thank you.
I left feeling more inspired than ever.
